We have partnered with Power Packs Project of Lancaster to help with the growing problem of food insecurity with the children of Eastern York School District.
Our church is the distribution site for the program. Food boxes will be distributed from our site to the 3 elementary schools in the district - Canadochly Elementary , Kreutz Creek Elementary and Wrightsville Elementary. The food will be given out on Thursday afternoon following the dismissal of school. The church is also open from 3:30 to 6:30 for parents to pick up food during those times.
Families must register with Power Packs Project in order to receive these boxes of food. The boxes include items to make a full meal with a recipe included. Milk is also sent along with the food box. This program is available during the school year.
